Simpson Developments is delighted to mark our colleague Clive Backus’ 25th anniversary with the company. 

Clive started his career as a brick layer in 1979, progressing to site manager.

His contribution to our network of developments over the past two and a half decades has been instrumental in ensuring Simpson Developments’ reputation as a developer of exceptional quality is kept intact.

Such is Clive’s skill and dedication to the role, Clive can often be seen going back to his roots and leading by example in labourer duties, as well as being at the helm of the construction site.

He has been honoured at the NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ awards numerous times, known as the most prestigious benchmark for excellent site managers.

A man with a passion for building, Clive takes his work home, even constructing his own house where his eight Highland Cattle can be seen grazing!

A huge rugby enthusiast, Clive is much more than just a member of the Simpson Developments team, he is an asset and a huge part of our story.
